Edition Unlocked

Edition Unlocked is a new way to collect art, support artists and earn money by helping limited-edition artwork reach new collectors. Each campaign brings together a numbered print edition, the original work of art, cash awards and collectible prizes.

The edition is not considered complete—or “unlocked”—until every print in the run has been sold.

Edition Unlocked is for artists, collectors and anyone who believes art should be seen, shared, collected and given. At its core, Edition Unlocked is a customer-only affiliate program that converts genuine buyers into paid advocates for the art they collect. After purchasing a numbered print, a collector becomes eligible to activate a personal sharing link and participate as an Edition Ambassador, earning commissions by introducing the artwork to new collectors.

Collectors choose and purchase an available numbered print from the current edition. Certain print numbers may unlock special prizes, which are revealed when the purchase is completed.

Verified purchasers can then activate an Edition Ambassador link. Ambassadors earn cash commissions when qualified print sales are completed through their links. Direct commission rates can grow from 20% to 60%, and additional sponsor commissions may be earned from the qualifying sales of Ambassadors they personally introduce.

Ambassadors can also compete for performance awards. When the entire edition sells out, the top-performing Edition Ambassador receives the original artwork connected to that edition. Additional placement awards may include original studies, artist’s proofs, cash and other collectibles.

Each Edition Unlocked campaign remains active until every numbered print in that edition has been purchased. Sales, available print numbers, Ambassador rankings and unlocked prizes are updated throughout the campaign.

The original artwork and final performance awards are presented after the complete edition has sold and the campaign results have been verified.

The experience takes place online through the Edition Unlocked app. Collectors can explore the featured artwork, choose an available print number, complete their purchase, discover any prize connected to that number and track the progress of the edition.

Edition Ambassadors can share their personal links with friends, family, colleagues, art lovers and potential collectors wherever they live. Shipping options are available within the United States and internationally, subject to the terms of each campaign.

Edition Unlocked was created to help art move beyond traditional galleries and reach people through personal connections.

It gives collectors a meaningful role in an artwork’s journey, rewards people who successfully introduce art to others and gives artists a collaborative way to complete an edition. Rather than relying on one artist to find every buyer, Edition Unlocked creates a growing network of collectors and Ambassadors working together.
